  Great place to visit. Beautiful beaches to walk around at no matter which season. The tide goes out nearly a mile and with so much sand to play and relax on. Amazing views of the coast and mountains, wonderful walks through the forest. Lots of camping sites in the forest with good amenities for camping.

  Love the trail but the trails but the parking lot is so full of these huge and deep pot holes. I won’t be going back until they are fixed

  We loved Rathtrevor Park. We spent five days there at the end of November. It was a bit damp, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the shoreline and the fantastic views. We followed the shoreline and river to Parksville one morning, hiked through the forest, and had a campfire every night. The park attendants were pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to go back again this summer!

  One of the true jewels of Vancouver Island. Great beach to visit year round to watch nature and enjoy the views. We love the modern playgrounds and the well kept campground too. An amazing place to experience nature. We have had seals come within 10 feet of us at the beach!

  Nicely kept. Lots of beach area trails to walk around. Large Open grass area too.

  Close to town to go get food, icecream available at the top of the hill.
