  Really great resort with nice rooms. The styling isn't too fantastic but it's very nice and the view (if you're facing the ocean) is also great. You can easily walk to anywhere in town because Parksville is so small so the location is ideal. Of course the beach is right there so it's a great place for a walk. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

  Underground parking was good and heated and the buffet dinner for party's was tasty if you are having a party or event.

  The front desk Staff really stood out, they were incredibly pleasant, with genuine smiles at all hours. The suite was large, beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The staff were wonderful with my elderly parents and made them very comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, the wait staff - terrific. Overall a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

  As I reflect on the dinning room from past trips to the hotel, the service has improved but not the food coming out of the kitchen. The chicken dish I had the first night was uneatable and tough.

  View of the parking lot was stunning . The room was clean but has a strong cold draft from the door. Tile in the bathroom was very cold as well. No bath robes for the pool were available during our stay. The hot tub could use a good cleaning and towels in the change rooms would also help.

  This was our second visit to this property. The suite we had was just as spacious and clean as our first visit and the view remains amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the resort is kept in excellent condition. We had Christmas dinner in the restaurant and the meal was delicious. We would highly recommend this property.

  Given the prices (martini $12) I would expect a proper chef be paid more to match the ambience and meal costs (steak $42). As stated, I have been attending here for many years and will come back as I love the rooms and ocean front views.
