  - I entered the spa and no one was at reception. I took a seat and waited almost 10 minutes before someone came out front (I was early and wasn’t in a rush). The person was surprised to see me. I was surprised that they didn’t say any type of “welcome” or “hi”.

  The two staff I encountered at the spa were nice people to talk to but it was generally a very poor experience. Hopefully this was just a result of holiday hours and not a result of the spa’s service level in general – but I will not be back to find out the answer.

  - I took the initiative and specifically requested an area not be touched (one toe which was still recovering from losing the nail during my last marathon). The therapist hit that area twice and I had to quickly pull away.

  - Neither of the “therapists” introduced themselves to us (we still don’t know their names), did not ask what we were looking for, did not ask about any preferences, injuries or areas I would prefer not to have massaged.

  - Based on my experience on the table, I don’t think my therapist had any massage specific training. I hate to say it, but it was an awful massage… She seemed to lack focus, didn’t seem to know any common massage techniques and generally just didn’t do a good job - minus the last 5 minutes when I got a pretty damn good head massage.

  I've been here a few times for pedicures and did the Little Time for Me package once. Amazing experience every time. Left relaxed and rejuvenated. My feet felt like baby feet again! :D
